Terms and Conditions – Elite Chaperones (For Chaperones)
1. Introduction
  • These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Elite Chaperones. (hereafter referred to as "the Agency") and the registered chaperones.

  • By registering and accepting work through the Agency, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. Registration
  • Free registration is available to all professional chaperones who meet the Agency’s criteria.

  • Chaperones must provide:

    • Proof of relevant qualifications (e.g., chaperone licensing for minors).

    • A valid DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service) or equivalent background check.

    • Up-to-date references and proof of experience working in the film and TV industry.

  • Registration does not guarantee work but provides access to available opportunities.

3. Commission and Payments
  • The Agency charges a 10% commission on all jobs that chaperones secure through the platform.

  • The commission will be deducted from the total payment before the chaperone receives their earnings.

  • Chaperones will be paid the remaining 90% within 14 days of job completion, provided the client has settled the invoice.

  • Chaperones are responsible for issuing an invoice to the Agency once the job is completed, including details of the agreed fee.

4. Job Allocations and Responsibilities
  • The Agency will present job opportunities to registered chaperones based on client requirements.

  • Chaperones must confirm their availability and commitment to the job in a timely manner.

  • Once a job is accepted, chaperones must:

    • Adhere to the schedule and any specific requirements provided by the production.

    • Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of the children or young performers under their care.

    • Comply with all relevant child performance licensing laws and safeguarding policies.

5. Cancellations
  • If a chaperone needs to cancel their commitment to a job, they must notify the Agency as soon as possible.

  • If the chaperone cancels without giving reasonable notice (at least 48 hours), this may affect future job opportunities and could result in a penalty or removal from the Agency’s roster.

  • The Agency reserves the right to replace a chaperone if necessary, with notice provided to the chaperone in advance.

6. Chaperone Conduct
  • Chaperones must maintain professional conduct at all times when representing the Agency on set.

  • Any breach of professionalism, including failure to comply with safeguarding rules or client instructions, may result in termination of the relationship with the Agency.

  • Chaperones are expected to act in the best interest of the minors under their care, prioritizing their safety and well-being.

7. Insurance
  • Chaperones are required to hold appropriate insurance coverage (e.g., public liability insurance) to protect themselves against potential claims while performing their duties.

  • The Agency is not responsible for any personal liability or claims arising from the chaperone's work on set.

8. Payment Disputes
  • Any disputes regarding payment must be reported to the Agency within 7 days of receiving the payment.

  • The Agency will make reasonable efforts to resolve payment issues but will not be liable for delays caused by client payment schedules.

9. Data Protection
  • The Agency complies with the UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) to protect personal information provided by chaperones.

  • Chaperone data will be used solely for job allocation, invoicing, and communication purposes with clients.

10. Termination of Agreement
  • Either party may terminate the relationship at any time by providing written notice.

  • The Agency reserves the right to remove a chaperone from the roster for any breach of these terms or unprofessional conduct.

11. Confidentiality
  • Chaperones must respect the confidentiality of all information they may be exposed to during their time on set. This includes but is not limited to scripts, production details, and personal information of cast and crew members.

  • Breaches of confidentiality may result in immediate removal from the Agency's roster and could have legal consequences.

12. Health and Safety
  • Chaperones must adhere to all health and safety regulations on set, as dictated by the production company.

  • Chaperones are responsible for ensuring the children or young performers under their care are in a safe and healthy environment.

  • In case of any health or safety concerns, chaperones are required to immediately notify the appropriate on-set personnel and the Agency.

13. Conflict of Interest
  • Chaperones are expected to declare any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a job (e.g., if they are working for or affiliated with another agency or competitor).

  • Failure to declare a conflict of interest may result in removal from the Agency’s roster.

14. Performance Evaluation
  • The Agency reserves the right to evaluate a chaperone’s performance based on client feedback. This may affect the chaperone’s access to future opportunities.

  • Persistent issues with punctuality, professionalism, or conduct may lead to termination of the relationship with the Agency.

15. Client Non-Solicitation
  • Chaperones agree not to directly solicit clients introduced to them by the Agency for private work without involving the Agency. This protects the Agency’s business interests and ensures fair commission payments.

  • Any breach of this clause may result in legal action and removal from the roster.
